haha roomies!!! think we both spoilt the photo intentionally without knowing the other was gonna. actually...... hahah i saw ching doing a funny face outta the corner of my eye b4 the photo was snapped so i did one too!! hahaha. so she wouldn't be the only photo-spoiler. as she loves to be. rem our bremen photo, ching!??! :P hahhaha.

the exco in m'sia!!!! except xiaoye. :( BUT! haha. c what i mean by gal-dominated.. :P butbutbut. i love our exco!! yeahh. nice people all around.. it's been fantastic working with this crazy bunch of people.. gals and guys alike! n everyone looks so happy in this photo! haha. rem we were almost gonna fall coz we were all squeezed onto one bed! think it was youzi's. oops. haha.

apparently i haven't blogged in about TEN years huh.......
haha. yeahyeahh beeeg joke about me and a&w..
coz i was telling momo n sam that we ate a&w in m'sia in it ROCKED!!
coz i haven't eaten a&w in like, 10 years.
first response: elf-fast food in m'sia is not nice!
second response: momo-didn't a&w close down when we were sec 1?
O.o erpps. right..... and so all of them were laughing at me coz 10 years was a ridiculous estimation.
but it really felt like 10years!!!! i mean, the last time i ate a&w was probably like in primary school. coz the only place to eat that was either zoo or....... err. some other ulu place? yeah.
aiyar. whatever. A&W still rocks!!!!!!! ohhhhhhh.......... waffle with ice cream...... curly fries..... root beer in the huge glass! ahhhhhhh. when will i eat that again....... BOOO.
and while im on the topic of food......
dunkin donuts!!!! ohmygoodness. im so glad someone took a photo of that box with 12 donuts! so inventive la.. sooo many different flavours of donuts. if they closed down because of a lack of demand in s'pore..... there must be sth wrong with us! hahah. :P
and buskin robbins! at least i think that's how it's spelt. nice nice! actually i didn't buy anything. but from the response of people who bought and what i tasted of the 'world-class chocolate'.. it's really good!! ice cream. yumms. but it's very ex tho. haha.
hmm.. think the best food i had in m'sia was at the gurney place. gurney drive? i think.
yeahhh! totally ignored the shopping centre and headed straight for the area packed with stalls.
xuan charm fel youzi ching n i waited around for seats then we took turns to go around buying food.
fel n i were the first pair to sit n book seats. and may i say some people are just PLAIN RUDE! come and anyhow take the stool away without asking first if anyone is occupying that chair! and later she still had the audacity to ask if we could change places with her and her friend coz there were only 2 of us. mind you, there were 6! haha. so we made her give the chair back. :P and that wasn't an isolated incident lo! encountered some others too. anyway. the food!!!! din eat the chicken wings but everyone loved them so they must have been good haha. even the 'inferior' version of char kway teow tasted quite good to me. and all of them were amused at my matter-of-fact answer that no matter what people said, i liked it and full stop. haha. ohh i think other than the SUPERB char kway teow that kane n wj bought n very kindly gave to us, i loved the lok lok!!!!!!!! lok lok lok lok lok lok! hahhahahaha. i am rather high, methinks. :P
when fel and i went to buy this we weren't even sure of what it was, just whack and hope it would turn out to be something nice! haha. and it did! what the stall displayed were just rows of different plates with different kinds of finger food on the satay sticks.
so fel and i just randomly picked what we thought should be nice and we got a pleasant surprise when the guy emptied the plate of our choices into this wok and fried them! yummmm! the food turned out SUPER nice. :D totally ate to our hearts' content!! and i must say that night was one of the most enjoyable meals i had in m'sia. :) laugh like crazy! haha. the food and the company was EXCELLENT. *grins* i wouldn't have given it up to eat in some posh restaurant or shopping. nahhhhhh. :)

anyway! concert! hmm where was i.
ohh. after J2 item! we waited outside while alumni sang their 4 songs......
whoa........ solo....... the SOP solo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
zai zai zai zai zai! ok, so she cracked and mebbe din start off that nicely (this one's according to dot) BUT. BUT. BUT! she is still zai to me!
i was like melting outside. hahaha. gushes. ahhh! i think about the solos and i melt, in alwyn's words, into an ice cream. hahahhahahahah! that was really funny. heh.
ahhhhh.......... zai. zai! zainess. :) kk i shall stop gushing else people become bored... haha.
amor! yay dot liked it. grins. woon was behind me. and i could hear her SO clearly and loudly! woon. is another zai one yesh. hmmmmmm..... actually i felt like i was blasting. mebbe too long never sing amor liaos. but audience liked it! conductor liked it too. hmm. so it was good i guess. haha.
tchs choir! heh. people adored their cute-ness and the fact that they were swimming in their blazers.. haha. :D jiayous!

sleep. hmm. alright la...... must understand that we only had 1 or 2 weeks to prep for this?? yupp. so for a song that only had that short time of preparation.. we were ok la! haha. high A for sops! rocks man............. but nothing can beat tarimba. guess its good we ain't singing that. high A for 32 beats?! madness. screech like crazy. blahs.
yoru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! really beginning to love this song. the more we sing it, the better the feel! :) remember our initial apprehension at the sop entries and the last part where we hold high G for dunno how long. but! not saying we super zai now. we have gotten comfortable with it! yes. ;) and the chords were nice too.... ahhhs. :)
binnanma. what else to say. except for the bit of rushing at the back.. the front part! soooo well-controlled! dynamics, speed, everything! very nice. and i'm just so relieved the tiers din collapse with all the stamping. whoosh.
we outdid ourselves! even better than our syf performance? yupps. good. really. nice. and..most definitely. thank God for bringing us through the concert, the hectic practices and all. it's really by God's grace. mm.
hmm can't really recall alumni songs after that coz we were arranging ourselves and whatnot, but! HEY JUDE! hahhaha. all the wonderful comments about the solo's rich and warm vocals. yeahh! zai! nice nice nice. :)
finale! ba jun zhan! haha. no matter how lousily we sing this song, i always find it a great joy to sing. super fun and enjoyable! ding dili ding dili ding! and my friends were all talking about wu sai!!!!!!!!! he is SHEN!!! haha. :D
then. sigulempong! as encore. hmm. never really liked this song. still dun have much love for it. but audience liked it. and we sounded good. so. good! haha.
ahhs. alright. so that is the end of the concert.
i read all the stuff on our msn groups and i feel so....... touched! and proud. of choir. we have indeed come a looong way......... we have gone all out and done so much within the short span of time we have in choir................truly love the choir! :)
heh. sorry for being biased but i can't help it.....
J2s! words can't express my feelings about this.. superb batch i belong to!!!! ahhs. u guys are truly special. and there's nothing else i have to say. :)

had choir today. think our poor welfare rm went mad printing scores coz the scores gal wasn't here...... ahhs. tarimba, morena.... and and and that tarimba thingy was 29 pages long can!?!?

before u start all your moneybags niao-ing.... HEYYY the entire phtocopying today cost approx 80 bucks la!!!!!!! and 3/4 of that went to that 29 page long song can!?!? blahness.

anyway! after choir had meeting.. then we went to currywok to eat! and for the first time ching joined us!!!! acc i thought charm went b4... but she said it's her first time too. hmmm. anyway!
even though i've been there so many times, this is the first time i doused, i meaned drowned my entire plate of rice in curry! seriously. haha. cos all the other times were before syf.. actually this is before trip.. but aiya! shall indulge myself just once. haha.
and it was yumminess! yes.
chilli kangkong, i totally whacked that one! think my throat went up in flames hahaha.
fish fritters was FANTASTIC, pork chop was oh-my-goodness how yummy la! and omelette was as usual, my absolute favourite. hee. my love affair with eggs yes. :D
then... went orchard! e gals were trying to find a particular tshirt at far east but sadly it was gone when we went to the stall... so we went to take neos!
this is a very memorable day.
my first neos with choir people! yeshhh. so sad right. but at least now i have neoprints! yayyy. :)
think the dao shot is SUPER ugly tho. haha. then. went to find a shop to repair fel's cam but couldn't find one..
for the record the time needed to repair that faulty shutter is like, 1-2 months!? -_- right.
then. went home!
and haven't done any work till now. sigheths. me is dead. blahs. but nvm!
ate dinner. watched some korean vcd. that my mum and sis are still watching as i type. and there was one scene in the rural countryside where the gal was cooking piping hot curry-looking noodles!
and guess what.
i just couldn't resist.
so after dinner give or take 1 or 2 hours, i went to cook curry instant noodles! goodness. i. have. a HUGE. appetite. O.0 hahahha.
so now i am VERY full. then when my sis saw me cooking noods she also decided to cook herself noodles! except that she more qiang, hers was immediately after eating dinner. and in between noodles and dinner she heated up a brownie to eat la! qiang! hahaha.
oops. think i just made her out to be some super greedy person. haha. NAHHH. just has a hearty appetite. like ME! hahhaa. :P think im mad.
ok! im done with today's entry. shall go talk more abt concert. :)
